I have had a lifetime of sewing, having the good fortune of growing up in a family devoted to the ‘gentle arts’ of sewing and associated needlework. I have always had a love of and an addiction to fine fabric and it is with all this in mind that I first started making blouses over twenty years ago.
I opened a shop in Wagga Wagga and used this as a sewing room as well, as it was very important and indeed very welcoming to be able to meet so many people who wished to be able to sit and discuss their likes and dislikes with the actual person doing the sewing, and for them to be able to make small changes to the designs so that their blouse was individual and special.
I am very proud to be able to say that my blouses are still made in this way, and I have via the internet, made a small selection available to you.
Naturally, I have selected only the very highest quality white pure irish linen, in two different weights, swiss lace, mother of pearl or self covered buttons and combined these with entirely hand done embroidery and drawn thread work, to bring you a blouse with a reputation for high quality. I also have available swiss cotton in a very fine check, these make a superb casual blouse.
